Front Axle Assembly System: A full length front axle spans almost 6ft and has the housings with end axles to be fitted into them. The process of fitting these axles requires that the housings be rotated with the opening upwards for insertion. The housing placed on our conveyor was held by a fixture which rotated the housing to the required orientation for insertion. After insertion, the housing was rotated and placed back in position on the conveyor. The system was complete with all the controls and systems to fulfil the customer need.
